Sarah was born and raised just outside of Gravenhurst, Ontario.  After graduating high school, Sarah went onto the University of Guelph where she studied Human Kinetics while competing as a member of the varsity swim team.  Upon graduation, Sarah pursued a Masters in Physiotherapy at the University of Toronto.  While attending U of T, she continued her swimming career with the Varsity Blues.  Upon graduation in 2004, Sarah has practiced physiotherapy in multiple settings including; private orthopaedic, sports clinics, long-term care, and strength and conditioning facilities. 

Sarah has continued to educate herself with post-graduate courses in acupuncture (CAFCI), manual therapy (CMT), orthotics and strength and conditioning.  In 2014, Sarah pursued her diploma in Massage Therapy, and has been practicing as a Registered Massage Therapist since 2015. 

Sarah's athletic career did not finish after University.  Some of her achievements in sports include:  

2009 World Championship Half Ironman

-2008 Florida Ironman

 -Member of the Canadian Age group Olympic and Sprint distance Triathlon Team
